Entry Requirement: Swimmers must have a minimum of 2 Vancouver/Fraser Divisional QT to enter the meet, and then may have up to 2 bonus swims per day. For the 800 or 1500 swimmers must have the Vancouver/Fraser Divisional standard to swim.

Schedule of Events:

Scoring and Awards: Scoring will be awarded points for top 8 places 10,8,6,5,4,3,2,1. Cash prizes ($80, $50, $20) for each age group and gender will be awarded based on the cumulative total of the swimmers’ five highest point events. Cheques will be mailed to teams after the meet.

Officials: All LMR clubs may be asked to provide timers for the 800 Free and 1500 free events. Distance Swimmers without two timers will not receive a time.

PARKING: Pay parking at CCAC available for $4 all day on Friday and Saturday (on the meter just need to max out the time and pay the maximum $4); free parking at CCAC on Sunday. Additional parking available across the street next to city hall and the RCMP station on the weekend.

ENTRY TO FACILITY: All participants and coaches must enter and exit via the front entrance doors. We have been asked to ensure that no side doors to the facility are being used to enter/exit and are not being propped open!

TENTS: we encourage teams to consider bringing outside tents to set up to declutter the deck space of bodies between events. There is enough deck space for all attending if not. There is a grassy area east of the pool (next to the parking lot) where these can be set up

SPECTATORS: No spectators will be allowed in the facility during prelims (due to capacity limits of the facility). There is space for a limited number of spectators during the distance session and finals. There will be a designated spectator area beside the pool where all non-participants are expected to remain. As a courtesy to others, we ask spectators to rotate in/out of the facility once they have watched their child’s event

SEATING: ALL SWIMMERS AND COACHES are encouraged to bring their own chairs as there is only seats available for volunteers and officials.
