Lord Byng Swim-A-Thon 2022

TIMES & LOCATIONS FOR SWIMS:

**please be advised that there are three separate session times for the event**

• Both Gold groups: 6:30-8:00am at Lord Byng
• Bronze & Silver: 7:30-9:00am at Lord Byng

Swimmers will have 60 minutes to swim as many laps of the pool as they can, recorded by a lap counter. Bronze and Silver swimmers have the option to use equipment for the second 30 minutes.

Note that Platinum 11&U & Platinum 12+ are attending the swim at UBC in the afternoon (event HERE)

FUNDRAISING GOAL: $60,000

To reach our fundraising goal, the prize amounts we have set for the Mini Makos is $250.

EVENT DETAILS

• Swimmers will be challenged to swim as far as possible in one hour and have a coach or parent volunteer track their meterss
• Swimmers are welcome to collect pledges tied to their total distance (for example, encouraging donors to pledge $2 for every 100m completed)
• Swimmers unable to participate on the day of may be permitted to attempt the challenge during another practice time decided by their coach.
